Eventual replacement of cetain models for traditional/better models

***This thread is somewhat of a work in progress, it might not be realistic for some of these models to be replaced simply because there may not be easy ways to port the MMD model (or something idk) so please keep in mind that I can update/fix/change this to better fit the server and the devs.***

We have a TON of vocaloid playermodels and they're all(or mostly?) the append versions. Would it be feasible to ask that we plan to replace them with the traditional costumes? This is by no means a priority, I just think it might be cool for the long run. Having these models even for Inspiration might be nice? :v

This was originally just going to have the vocaloids but I wanted to include a couple others as well.

I can add to this post to organize which playermodels we have that would be replaced.

I do not want PDDT Miku replaced with yet another TDA model. I don't think I am the only one who would think that, but considering it's the playermodel I use 90% of the time, hopefully this opinion has some weight. CBB has way too many playermodels on our server as it is, and they almost all look alike. It's getting old, imo.

Same goes for Teto. Replacing cookie-cutter TDA models with more of the same shouldn't happen. I'd rather see us keep the TDA models we have and add Non-TDA classic models if anything.

As for Reimu, that's the exact model I rigged as my first project and I am in the process of redoing it...

And Marisa, well the quality of that rig is just not what I want to represent me on YukiTheater.

I feel the same way, if you dislike tda though we could just get other models, I just happened to click tda because it was the highest quality with the classic outfit. I just find it a tad silly to have like 10 models that are all copy/paste and then recolor
 
We really need to get rid of that over-sized Teto model. It's truly awful. I'm honestly surprised it's not on the list of models to be removed. I never see anyone using it. I would love to see the Teto model Kuro suggested. Either as a replacement for the current tda or the over-sized one. Preferably the latter. However I would also suggest any of these http://reon046.deviantart.com/art/LAT-Teto-model-pack-MMD-download-369953767 as an alternative since tda is not wanted for reasons I can't understand.

There are a ton of alternatives to tda, he/she is just a single artist, there are many modelers, we can just reference the wiki if we really need to. I only picked tda in the above posts either for convenience ( if it was on the workshop already) or if it just really looked to be high quality.

There's 2 I like there, a modified tda by ReYama and the one by Nanami, even the one by Ula. Tda models are just so much more widespread, they don't require going to random japanese websites and digging for passwords in old forums and wikis for files.
