Sorry for the lack of a dark theme, I agree it's quite bright. Maybe in the future something like that will be added. I hope everything else about the new forums is to your liking.
The Dark Theme isn't here because a Dark Theme wouldn't follow the flow of the rest of the website. I may, at some point, add the option for Logged In users to change their theme to Dark, but it'll be a little bit before I end up starting to fiddle with that.
