This is most often encountered with a Windows 10 Computer using Intel Integrated Graphics!
However...this may solve your issue on other setups as well!
It's a rather simple solution: Disable Multicore Rendering and/or Lower Your Graphics Settings
If you don't know how to, open Garry's Mod's Menu, click Options, then click the Video Tab, then click Advanced...
Then, lower all settings to Medium or lower and switch "Multicore Rendering" to Disabled.
