Technological future?

Will humanity continue to advance technologically or will we fall back to how we lived for thousands of years or fall back further to how we lived for a hundred thousand years ago?

Do you think we will continue to invent and improve technology or do you think we will knock ourselves back in time though a mistake?

War never changes.

Basically, I do believe that technology would end up ruining us if war is or is not involved.
If it is oh yeah its going to be a race to get the biggest weapons, that means all technology will be focused on destroying the planet.
If war doesnt happen, we most likely would just create technology where robots will run the world as we are getting lazier and dont have a purpose in life anymore.
